This is another entry point for user code. Instead of writing a model, adapter or service, developers write the nodejs equivalent of a web worker. A worker runs in its own thread of execution (V8 isolate) and can be a member of a thread pool through association with a model object. Otherwise, workers provide the equivalent functionality of a Cloudflare service worker or a WasmCloud actor, but with all the benefits of federated deployment.
