This tool is used to fill the NTAK site from Csaba with data from Pálköve's camp. For installation, see the section Installation. For usage and possible caveats, see the section Usage.
Make sure you have node.js and pnpm installed on your system.
-
Clone the repository:
git clone
-
Navigate to the cloned directory:
cd ntakt -
Install pnpm, if it's not installed yet:
npm install -g pnpm
-
Install the required dependencies:
pnpm install
-
Copy the example configuration:
cp .env.example .env.local
Then set
TARGET_URLandSHEET_PATHin.env.local.SHEET_PATHmay be relative to the directory where you run the command (for example,./workbook.xlsx) or an absolute path. This local file is ignored by Git and must not be committed. -
Validate the workbook without opening the browser:
pnpm check:data
-
Run the filler:
pnpm start
The tool will read the Excel file specified in .env.local, extract the necessary data, and fill the NTAK site with it. The script takes a few minutes to run (about 10), in this timespan, please do not interact with the device (i.e. don't hide the browser window, don't switch to another tab, etc.).
The tool automatically finds the worksheet containing the required columns. It accepts either the original English headers:
nameparticipant_birthdayin Excel's date formatgender: 1 if male, 0 if femaleparticipant_zipparticipant_birth_placeid_card_number
or the Hungarian CampRegistration export headers:
Diák neveSzületésnapDiák neme(FiúorLány)IrányítószámSzületési helyOkmány száma
- The tool currently does not fill nationality, as it would be an overkill, and is defaulted to Hungarian. If you need to fill it, you can do so manually on the NTAK site.
- The site is slow as heck, so it might be required to manually check the filled data.
- In some cases, the gender gets misfilled
- The tool doesn't handle room numbers, as in our experience, the camp's owner doesn't care about it too much either.
