docs(changelog): the 0.14.0 output changes are not all cosmetic - #4

The "Changed (output)" preamble claimed the CSS is equivalent and only its spelling changed, which the section's own first bullet contradicts: an unevaluated `whiteness()` leaves an unknown CSS function in the value, so the declaration is invalid and the browser drops it. Everything else in the list really is serialization. Say which is which, so a reader knows the one they must grep for from the ones they can just re-baseline. Same wording now used in sasso-rails, bridgetown-sasso and hanami-sasso.

What
One-paragraph fix to the
### Changed (output — dart-sass 1.101.4 → 1.104.1 alignment)preamble in the released 0.14.0 entry.Why
The preamble ended with "The CSS is equivalent; only its spelling changed." — and then the very first bullet under it says global
whiteness()/blackness()are no longer built-ins and pass through as plain CSS. That is not a spelling change:color: whiteness(#f00)used to becolor: 0%, and is now an unknown CSS function, which makes the declaration invalid, so the browser drops it. Silently, at that. The rest of the list genuinely is serialization — percentages instead of a decimal rgb triple, compressed
hslrouting throughrgb,-0keeping its sign. A reader should be able to tell the one they must grep their stylesheets for from the ones they can re-baseline without looking.Scope
Documentation only; no code, no version bump. 0.14.0 is already published, so this corrects the description of a shipped change rather than describing a new one.
The same distinction was adopted downstream: sasso-rails 0.1.7 (
69e3792), and the open bridgetown-sasso / hanami-sasso PRs.🤖 Generated with Claude Code
