A small native Win32 utility for computing the BelT-256 hash according to the STB 34.101.31-2020 standard.
The program allows you to:
- select a file,
- compute its BelT hash,
- copy the result to the clipboard,
- verify a match against a reference hex string.
The hash output is in hex format and is consistent with online tools such as hashing.tools/belt, meaning you should compare hex with hex.
- BelT-256 computation for files of any size;
- a convenient Win32 GUI with no third-party frameworks;
- a progress bar during file processing;
- copying the result to the clipboard;
- verifying an entered hash for a match;
- built-in test vectors from Annex A of the standard.
The simplest way:
build_mingw.batAfter a successful build, the executable will be located at:
build\WinBelTFree.exeThe build uses static linking of MinGW's standard runtime libraries, so the .exe is more portable.
cmake -S . -B build -G "MinGW Makefiles" -DCMAKE_BUILD_TYPE=Release
cmake --build build -jcmake -S . -B build -G "Visual Studio 17 2022" -A x64
cmake --build build --config Release- Run WinBelTFree.exe
- Click Browse...
- Select the desired file
- Click Compute Hash
- The resulting BelT-256 hash can be:
- copied using the Copy button
- compared against a reference value using the Reference hash for verification field
