[Forge 1.20.1] Initial Selection Visual Missing

Hi there, it seems like there's a bug with Engineered Schematic when using the schematic to right c lick on spot, the initial highlight on the floor doesn't show up.
The block highlights and whiteline do show up normally when in offhand, but doesn't show up in hand when right clicked the floor.

I've encountered this myself in some modpacks, I think it's due to some sort of mod conflict.

I'll look into this further.

Did you find a solution to this issue, im having it using terrafirmagreg-modern, and have added immersive engineering and engineered schematics

Caused by

engineered_schematics/src/main/java/tech/muddykat/engineered_schematics/event/SchematicRenderHandler.java

and the similar check a few lines down.

Should use the hasTag method instead of checking for null, some mods may attach an empty tag any arbitrary item, including air (which should generally be avoided but isn't) which means your null check false positives and skips the subsequent else if branch
