.cursor/mcp.jsonwith the three MCP servers used on this project, and seeds a committed memory bank with the project's architecture, decisions and open work.What is here
uvx --from git+https://github.com/oraios/serena): symbol-level navigation and editing over the Go code. Runs with--context ide-assistant, the project pinned to${workspaceFolder}, and the web dashboard off. Itsenv.PATHprepends$HOME/go/binbecause the Go language server needsgoplson PATH — without it every symbol tool fails with "language server manager is not initialized".@upstash/context7-mcp): current library documentation. Works without a key at a lower rate limit;CONTEXT7_API_KEYis passed through when set.@allpepper/memory-bank-mcp): files under.memory-bank/<project>/, committed on purpose so the project's decisions outlive any single machine. Serena's own memories live in.serena/, which is already gitignored..memory-bank/semcache/is seeded witharchitecture.md,decisions.md,open-work.mdandtooling.md.Verification
Every server was started from this exact config on a clean machine, then exercised with real tool calls: Serena resolved the
Cachestruct and its fields insemcache.go, Context7 resolvedpgvectoragainst live docs, and Memory Bank wrote and read back files under.memory-bank/.mcp_servers_verified.log
Note on Cloud Agents
Per Cursor's documentation, cloud agents do not read
.cursor/mcp.json— that file is client (IDE/CLI) configuration. To get the same three servers in cloud agents they must be added in the MCP dropdown at cursor.com/agents, with any keys under Cloud Agents > Secrets.To show artifacts inline, enable in settings.
