hey

I'm Aaron. I'm a lawyer who keeps building software instead of taking weekends off.

I work on legal AI, contracts, and the problem of getting a computer to be useful without letting it confidently make everything worse. I use LLMs a lot. I do not believe them about anything.

This is a map, not a complete list. A lot of the projects below are experiments; some are more polished than others. That’s life.

legal AI / things that need to be checked

software for legal work

  • LeBlox — an attempt to keep client work where it belongs
  • counselbridge — legal chat with citations and a human escape hatch
  • plainclause — explain a clause without shipping the whole contract off to who-knows-where
  • legal-prompt-router — a small routing tool for legal workflows
  • canopy — compliance MCP server work

agents, build systems, and other ways to make my own life harder

  • highland — mission control for long-running AI-assisted builds
  • leto — a local-/Telegram-first agent framework
  • deep-agent-lab — research-agent experiments
  • onboard — a company wiki compiler, not another RAG chatbot

elsewhere

If you’re building useful legal software, agent systems, or something that probably needs a lawyer in the loop, say hi. Nothing here is legal advice. Obviously.
