First-glance credibility upgrade for awesome-list maintainers and external readers. Pure additive — no existing content removed, no metrics changed.

What changed

  • Added Paper: JISEM and a simulation-backed reproducibility badge alongside python/license badges.
  • Lead paragraph now names the peer-reviewed journal (JISEM, 2026) and DOI explicitly.
  • Added a one-paragraph "governance-first architecture" tagline above the existing study results table — same content as the awesome-list submission body.
  • Added a Reproducibility scope callout: the public repo is simulation-backed; the 15,847-deployment enterprise dataset described in the paper is not included. Prevents over-claim on read.

Why

Per data/eb1a/02_Criteria_Evidence/C5_Original_Contribution/oss_promotion/readme_upgrade_review.md, the existing 442-line README is technically strong but lacks (1) the peer-reviewed paper signal at first glance and (2) the explicit reproducibility caveat that prevents readers from confusing the simulation harness with the proprietary enterprise dataset. Both are load-bearing for credibility.
