Xolariq Wiki

Welcome to the Xolariq wiki — the technical and user-facing knowledge base for a Windows-first file converter that lives directly inside the Explorer context menu.

Xolariq is designed as a shell-first desktop app. Users do not need to open a large main window, upload files to a cloud service, or build a complex workflow. The primary flow is simple: right-click a supported file, choose a target format, and monitor the conversion in a compact progress window.

Current status

Xolariq is currently version 0.1.0 and primarily targets Windows. It uses Rust, Tauri 2, FFmpeg, pandoc, and 7-Zip to provide local file conversion from the Windows context menu.
