HTTP chunk size exceeds the configured limit of 31457280 bytes when exporting Vulnerabilities #1282

Current Behavior

NVSHAS-10331

Reproducibility: Always

Environment:

Openshift 4.18.30

NeuVector: 5.6.0

Issue Detail:

Vulnerability CSV export does not work on 2 environments in the customer side. After a lot of investigation, I was able to see the following error on the manager pods when the export is triggered.

2026-08-19 06:11:34,734|ERROR|MANAGER|org.apache.pekko.actor.ActorSystemImpl(applyOrElse$$anonfun$1:89): Response stream for [GET /vulasset] failed with 'HTTP chunk size exceeds the configured limit of 31457280 bytes'. Aborting connection.

I have also confirmed with the customer that when they put some filters so the generated file is smaller than 30MB it works so I think that we have an internal limitation of 30MB in the manager server for generated exported files.

Expected Behavior

Actual Result:

Vulnerabilities cannot be exported without filters due to an internal manager limitation

Expected Result:

NeuVector should allow customers to export vulnerabilities no matter what size of the file is generated.

Steps To Reproduce

1, Deploy NeuVector

2, Keep it running with a lot of workloads and vulnerabilities

3, Go to Security Risks -> Vulnerabilities -> export to CSV -> All

4, File doesn't get generated and the following error can be seen on the manager pod

HTTP chunk size exceeds the configured limit of 31457280 bytes'. Aborting connection.

5, If we do the same but configuring filters it works.

    @venkateshjayagopal

Was not able to generate more than 15MB vulnerability report using longevity cluster with ~30 nodes. hence closing the ticket. Believed verified.
