Project Description
SCK Finance is a financial investing web application designed for everyday investors. It provides analytics-driven insights using machine learning. It also provides users with a full financial-tracking experience, plus all the tools needed to properly research important investment decisions including market news, policy-maker investments, and more.
This application will:
- track existing financial data of historical stock/crypto prices.
- track investments made by government officials, who often have insight on direction of market based on upcoming policy changes.
- store all data in a database that is connected to the app.
- perform data analytics using various algorithms to generate trends for the future of the market.
- generate conclusions on sound investments to be made by users.
The goal of this project is to create a web application that provides financial investment information/predictions for its users. These predictions will be made by performing data analytics on past financial data. The data will consist of historical prices of major stocks and cryptocurrencies; all of the data will be stored in a database that is connected to the web application. We plan to use various data analytics algorithms to generate trends for the direction the economy is heading. These trends can then be used to advise users on which investments to make.
