Cause
The published v0.1.0 macOS executable runs directly, but both distributed app bundles fail
codesign --verify --deep --strict:code has no resources but signature indicates they must be present. Packaging preserved the linker signature on the executable without signing the completed bundle. Updater signatures do not check this.Fix
signingIdentity: "-"); no Apple account or paid certificate required. Existing optional Developer ID configuration still overrides it.dist/.Ad-hoc signing fixes the invalid signature, not Gatekeeper trust: users still need to approve the unnotarized app. No application code or version changes.
Validation
bash -n;git diff --checkpasses.just checkcould not run locally: the devcontainer base image fails to resolve, and host ShellCheck is absent. PR CI will run the normal checks.A new release after merging is needed to replace the broken landing-page download.
