🚀 How to Deploy to GitHub Pages

Method 1: Replace Your Existing Site

1. Backup your current files (if you want to keep them):

   git clone https://github.com/nimbekarnd/nimbekarnd.github.io.git
   cd nimbekarnd.github.io
   git checkout -b backup-old-site
   git push origin backup-old-site

2. Replace the files:

   • Delete old index.html, about.html, projects.html, contact.html
   • Copy the new index.html, styles.css, and script.js to your repo
   • Keep the assets folder if you have any images you want to use

3. Commit and push:

   git add .
   git commit -m "Complete portfolio redesign with modern UI"
   git push origin main

4. Your site will be live at: https://nimbekarnd.github.io

Method 2: Preview First (Recommended)

1. Create a new branch:

   git clone https://github.com/nimbekarnd/nimbekarnd.github.io.git
   cd nimbekarnd.github.io
   git checkout -b redesign

2. Add the new files:

   • Copy index.html, styles.css, script.js to the repo

3. Test locally:

   • Open index.html in your browser to preview
   • Or use a local server:

     python -m http.server 8000
     # Then visit http://localhost:8000

4. Deploy when ready:

   git add .
