Garble applies a Haar wavelet transform to audio, then quantises and drops detail coefficients before reconstructing the signal. The result is somewhere between a bitcrusher and a broken codec — but the degradation happens at different resolutions rather than uniformly across the sample stream.
Available for Windows, macOS, and Linux.
