The FQDN that resolves to the EDA VIP or the VIP itself.

This value must be the FQDN or VIP address that is used to access the UI. If you use two networks, this value must be the FQDN or IP address of the OAM network.

When you configure

EXT_DOMAIN_NAME = some.unreachable.address

Hi @BYT3M3
the EXT_IPV4_ADDR has no relation to the UI/API access; only EXT_DOMAIN_NAME matters; the EXT_IPV4 address is used for DHCP and ZTP routines.

This is what is explained in the paragraph above:

This value must be the FQDN or VIP address that is used to access the UI. If you use two networks, this value must be the FQDN or IP address of the OAM network.

```
or
```
EXT_DOMAIN_NAME = some.unreachable.address
EXT_IPV4_ADDR = 1.2.3.4
```
You will get a keycloak error when you surf to 1.2.3.4:
If you do not have a valid domain name, you need to configure:
```
EXT_DOMAIN_NAME = 1.2.3.4
EXT_IPV4_ADDR = 1.2.3.4
```
