Release 2.0.0: the skill becomes a Claude Code plugin that manages the whole Intercom Help Center against the code. Merging this makes main (what the marketplace installs) v2. Please merge with a merge commit and tag v2.0.0; the GitHub Actions templates pin that tag.

What's in it

  • Plugin + marketplace in one repo: /plugin marketplace add oderajoseph95/claude-intercom-help-center, then /plugin install intercom-help-center@claude-intercom-help-center.
  • Commands: /intercom-help-center:setup, :audit, :plan, :fix, :publish.
  • Agents: help-center-auditor, help-center-writer, help-center-reviewer (adversarial, read-only).
  • Hooks: publish guard (approved plan, cap), secret guard (no Intercom token in files), stale-article reminder.
  • Scripts (zero dependencies, Node 18+): doctor (setup detection), audit (read-only, every page), plan-collections, correction-plan (with approvals and ad-hoc plans), find-existing (pre-write check), pull, publish (plans, cap, drift 3-way view, collections, translations, adoption, workspace checks), pr (PR base detection with evidence, forks, GitLab/Bitbucket, never force), coverage-check.
  • Message catalog: every error has a code, cause and fix; docs/TROUBLESHOOTING.md is generated from it and the tests fail if they drift.
  • GitHub Actions templates: coverage gate, weekly read-only audit, optional Claude-drafted fix PRs (never publishes).
  • Docs: README (with the comparison to Intercom's official plugin and MCP server), SETUP, CONFIG, WORKFLOWS, TROUBLESHOOTING, ARCHITECTURE, HUNT-LOG, CHANGELOG, CONTRIBUTING, SECURITY, CODE_OF_CONDUCT, issue and PR templates, repo CI.
  • Sample output generated from the test fixtures in examples/sample-output/.

Proof

  • node scripts/selftest.mjs: 56 passed, 0 failed (offline: fake Intercom API, scripted git/gh).
  • claude plugin validate --strict .: passed.
  • Installed from this marketplace into a clean Claude Code config: 6 skills, 3 agents, 3 hooks loaded.
  • Hunt pass (docs/HUNT-LOG.md): the full loop walked on three new repos (Next.js with i18n JSON, Rails with YAML locales, no i18n) with real git; 23 findings, each fixed or stated.

Not verified

  • Nothing has run against a real Intercom workspace yet (audit, publish, collections, moves, translations, pull, region detection). Recommended first check after merge: a read-only audit of a real Help Center, then publish one article and open it.
  • Real gh pr create from pr.mjs, the hooks inside a live Claude Code session, the Actions templates on GitHub, the Claude Code GitHub Action run, and Intercom's MCP server as a read path.

After merging

  1. Tag v2.0.0 on the merge commit and create the GitHub Release from the CHANGELOG entry.
  2. CI on main should be green (Linux and Windows, Node 18 and 22).

Moves the skill to skills/intercom-help-center with reference files, and adds
the setup, audit, plan, fix and publish commands, the auditor, writer and
reviewer agents, and the publish-guard, secret-guard and stale-reminder hooks.
One Intercom client (pagination, 429 backoff, read-only mode), config,
frontmatter, feature and strings discovery, HTML conversion both ways, text
similarity and diffs, a git/gh wrapper that refuses force-push, reset and
stash, and a catalog giving every message a code, cause and fix.
Real writes need an approved plan and stay under the cap. Articles edited in
Intercom are never overwritten without a 3-way view and an explicit choice.
Adds --create-collections and --plan (create and move), translations,
adoption instead of duplicates, workspace checks and resumable runs.
Runs every script against an in-memory fake of the Intercom API and a
scripted fake of git and gh. The sample output is generated from the same
fixtures.
The repo's own CI runs the selftest on Linux and Windows. Templates: a
coverage gate, a weekly read-only audit, and optional Claude-drafted fix PRs
that never publish.
