- Add a test-only, explicit opt-in ledger for external scanner checkpoint ownership, restoration, branching, merging, condensing, recovery, and cleanup. - Cover rollback, failed restore destruction, exact checkpoint sharing, stale-state rejection, and dead-version deletion with focused tests. - Document the structural audit and Docker validation while keeping issue 576 open because real parser integration is not included.
