Contributing

This repository contains the content published on the website.

Contributions are welcome from developers, traders, researchers, and anyone who can improve the quality or depth of the knowledge base.

You don't need permission to suggest an improvement.

What You Can Contribute

You can contribute:

  • New trading strategy pages
  • Improvements to existing pages
  • Missing explanations
  • Trading concepts
  • Risk-management concepts
  • Backtesting approaches
  • Algorithmic and quantitative trading topics
  • Examples and practical explanations
  • Corrections to inaccurate information
  • Better organization of existing content
  • References and research

Our Main Rule

Go deeper, don't just create more URLs.

We don't want hundreds of pages that repeat the same information.

For example, don't create:

/trading-strategies/day-trading/momentum
/trading-strategies/swing-trading/momentum
/trading-strategies/stocks/momentum
/trading-strategies/forex/momentum

if they all explain essentially the same thing.

Instead, deepen the topic:

momentum
├── entry-rules
├── exit-rules
├── volume
├── pullbacks
├── false-breakouts
├── position-sizing
├── risk-management
├── backtesting
└── failure-modes

A new page should provide genuinely useful information that is not already covered elsewhere.

How to Contribute

1. Fork the repository

Create your own fork and clone it locally.

2. Find something worth improving

Look for:

  • Missing topics
  • Thin pages
  • Incorrect information
  • Poor explanations
  • Missing examples
  • Topics that deserve deeper coverage

3. Make your change

Add or improve the relevant content.

Follow the existing content structure and formatting.

4. Submit a Pull Request

Push your changes to your fork and open a Pull Request against the main repository.

In the PR description, briefly explain:

  • What you added or changed
  • Why it is useful
  • Which topic it improves
  • Any sources or research used

Content Guidelines

Contributions should be:

  • Original
  • Accurate
  • Useful
  • Specific
  • Easy to understand
  • Free from unnecessary keyword stuffing

Avoid:

  • Duplicate content
  • Keyword-generated pages
  • Rewriting the same article for different markets
  • Filler content
  • Unsupported claims
  • Guaranteed-profit claims
  • Fake performance results
  • Misleading trading signals

Sources

When making factual or statistical claims, provide reliable sources where appropriate.

Do not copy content from other websites.

If you use research, data, or external material, make sure it can legally be used and properly attribute it when necessary.

Trading Claims

This project is educational.

Do not present trading strategies as guaranteed ways to make money.

Backtests and historical performance should not be presented as guarantees of future results.

Before Creating a New URL

Ask yourself:

Does this deserve its own page?

If the answer is no, improve the existing page instead.

A smaller number of excellent pages is better than a large number of repetitive pages.

Contribution Philosophy

You don't need to build something huge.

A contribution can be as small as:

Fix one incorrect statement.
Add one missing concept.
Improve one explanation.
Add one useful example.
Create one genuinely missing topic.

Every contribution should make the knowledge base deeper, clearer, or more accurate.

Don't just add another page. Make the project better.
