This repository contains the content for the trading education website.
All published content is written in Markdown and lives in the trading-strategies/ directory.
The current website routes are:
/blog/trading-strategies/...
Each Markdown file represents a topic on the website.
The current structure is intentionally simple:
trading-strategies/
├── day-trading.md
├── swing-trading.md
├── momentum.md
├── rsi.md
├── risk-management.md
└── ...
For example:
trading-strategies/momentum.md
maps to:
/blog/trading-strategies/momentum
There are no nested content directories at the moment. Future structure may expand as the knowledge base grows.

Open a Pull Request
- Open the repository in your browser.
- Open the
trading-strategies/directory. - Open the Markdown file you want to improve.
- Click Edit.
- Make your changes.
- Commit the change to your branch or create a new branch.
- Open a Pull Request.
This is the preferred way to make small content improvements.
If a genuinely new topic is needed:
- Create a new
.mdfile insidetrading-strategies/. - Use a clear, lowercase, hyphen-separated filename.
- Add the required content/frontmatter used by the existing pages.
- Submit the change through a Pull Request.
For example:
trading-strategies/market-profile.md
would correspond to:
/blog/trading-strategies/market-profile
Before creating a new page, search the repository first.
This project is a trading knowledge base, not a content farm.
The goal is not to create hundreds of URLs that repeat the same explanation.
For example, these can easily become repetitive:
day-trading/momentum
swing-trading/momentum
stocks/momentum
forex/momentum
crypto/momentum
if every page simply explains momentum trading again.
Prefer deepening the existing topic:
momentum.md
- momentum entry rules
- momentum exits
- volume confirmation
- pullbacks
- failed momentum
- false breakouts
- position sizing
- risk management
- backtesting
- performance evaluation
Create a new page when it provides a genuinely distinct topic or search intent.
Otherwise, improve the existing page.
Useful contributions include:
- Fixing incorrect information
- Improving an explanation
- Adding a missing concept
- Adding a practical example
- Improving an existing strategy
- Adding backtesting methodology
- Adding risk-management details
- Adding quantitative explanations
- Adding useful references
- Making a page easier to understand
- Expanding a shallow topic
A contribution does not need to be large.
Even fixing one important sentence is useful.
Please do not submit:
- Duplicate pages
- Keyword-stuffed pages
- Thin pages created only to target another keyword
- Rewritten copies of existing pages
- Unsupported performance claims
- Guaranteed-profit claims
- Fake trading results
- Misleading financial claims
- Content copied from other websites
Trading content should be educational and should not present a strategy as a guaranteed way to make money.
Ask:
- Does this topic already exist?
- Could I improve an existing page instead?
- Does this contribution add genuinely new information?
- Is the information accurate?
- Does the page fit the existing topic structure?
- Did I avoid unnecessary repetition?
If you are unsure, open an issue and discuss the idea before creating a large change.
Keep Pull Requests focused.
A good PR might be:
Improve momentum trading explanation
or:
Add missing risk-reward section to breakout strategy
Avoid combining unrelated changes into one PR.
A PR description should briefly explain:
- What changed
- Why it changed
- Which topic it affects
- Any important sources or references
We value:
Depth > quantity
Accuracy > keyword targeting
Useful information > filler
Original research > repetition
The objective is to build a knowledge base that becomes more useful as more people contribute.
This project is educational.
Trading involves financial risk. Nothing published in this repository should be interpreted as guaranteed financial advice, investment advice, or a promise of future performance.
Contributors should only submit content they have the right to contribute.
Don't just add another page. Make the knowledge base better.
Find something shallow.
Make it deeper.
Find something wrong.
Fix it.
Find something missing.
Add it.
