This is a draft changelog for OKD 5.0 based on 5.0.0-okd-scos.ec.9. Key highlights: - Kubernetes 1.36.3 and CRI-O 1.36.4 platform upgrade - Volume Group Snapshots promoted to GA - DRA Partitionable Devices now GA for AI/GPU workloads - HAProxy multi-version selection (2.8 and 3.2) - Enhanced multi-cloud platform features - Comprehensive storage, networking, and security updates This draft should be updated after 5.0.0-okd-scos.0 stable release.
Changes: - Use 4.22.0-okd-scos.10 as baseline instead of .9 - Remove GCP Sovereign Cloud entry (already in 4.22.10) - Remove NUMA Resources Operator fix (already in 4.22.10) - Update release controller links to reflect correct comparison This ensures release notes only highlight features truly new in 5.0, not backported features already available in 4.22.10.
Changes: - Update version from ec.9 to stable scos.0 - Update release date to 2026-09-17 (stable release date) - Remove EC warning - this is now production-ready - Update all release controller links to 5-scos-stable stream - Update upgrade path section to reflect TRT acceptance - Rename file to 09-17 to match stable release date 5.0.0-okd-scos.0 was manually accepted by TRT on 2026-09-17.
