Propose complete MAP state resolution over an authorized ordered revision history. Specify all six commands, ordered byte values, SELECT context, CLEAR-of-CLEAR, branch separation and incomplete results. Reject an odd-length SET as a whole command. For alternate substrates, exclude the current txid from SELECT/CLEAR targeting and make CLEAR affect every earlier matching revision. Replace executable tests with concise expected-result examples. A deployed full resolver is not a prerequisite for this request for comments.
Validation: whitespace and relative file links checked. Collection, BAP, group and MAP revisions received independent read-only review; 15 local MAP checks pass for the revised semantics. Validation scripts are retained outside the BRC repository.
Targets master on the fork. No merge or upstream submission is requested. Resolve final upstream numbering and canonical dependency links during integration. BRC-178 settlement remains separately owned.
