Modules Ecogenetic Module

The OSMOSE ecogenetic module is based on the principles of a family of models called “ecogenetic models,” as defined in the article “Eco-genetic modeling of contemporary life-history evolution” (Dunlop et al., 2009). The aim of this module is to study eco-evolutionary dynamics within the context of a trophic web. OSMOSE implemented with this module is sometimes referred to as Ev-OSMOSE.

When activated, this module explicitly represents the alleles of functional and neutral traits, their transmission from parents to offspring, and their selection or their genetic drift under human pressures.
