UnicodeDecodeError with ascii in steam_query

Got an error today right after launching the launcher:

UnicodeDecodeError: 'ascii' codec can't decode byte 0xb9 in position 21: ordinal not in range(128)

And it keeps repeating every time I switch between servers (IFA/RHS/Vanilla and so on)
