Closing: this bump moves CI to macos-26 runners, and its own CI run confirms what the pinned comment in ci.yml warns about — Build/Test/Lint/Coverage all fail on the macOS 26 image (MLX metallib link / deployment-target mismatch, AIR version skew). The runner stays pinned to macos-15 until the MLX toolchain issue is resolved. Closing rather than leaving open so Renovate treats this version as dismissed.
