The README had grown to 161 lines, most of them a manual for the tools. It now keeps what the repository is, why it's separate, what goes in, and Adding a template as four short steps with a command each (68 lines). The details moved to the wiki:

  • Fetching templates
  • Checking a template
  • The record
  • The header
  • Templates from Fandom

The text moved almost as it was, and the Fetching page also covers the fetcher's newer checks: HTML other than tables, and redirects.

"What goes in" no longer lists {{Center}}, which is recorded as not adaptable.

Docs only.

The README keeps what the repository is, why it is separate, what goes
in, and adding a template as four short steps with a command each,
linking to the wiki pages Fetching templates, The header, Checking a
template, The record and Templates from Fandom for the details. What
goes in no longer lists Center, which is recorded as not adaptable.
