Purpose

Rebuild the public README around installed capture, explicit microphone and recording options, independent stems, voice composition, interruption debugging, batch transcription, Relay, Connector authoring, permissions, and platform evidence.

Product result

A Python developer gets a runnable first result and can see what PocketStation owns, what provider code owns, and which measurements remain unavailable.

Architecture

Documentation only. The Python API continues to control the existing native Session.

Verification

  • uv run pytest -q
  • uv run ruff check python tests examples
  • uv run ruff format --check python tests examples
  • uv run mypy python tests/qualification/typing_contract.py examples
  • local links, Markdown fences, and git diff checks

Remaining limits

The voice example does not claim acoustic playout, AEC, or provider-history truncation. Linux and Windows physical-device qualification and WAN/TURN remain open.

Scaffold inventory: n/a
Decision: PASS
