The DotSettings exists in three levels, machine, team and personal. The version included in the repo is the team-shared level (middle). You can always have a default fallback for the machine, and a persopan override if there is stuff you do not like in the team-version. However, I think it is good to have a team shared version of stylecop and resharper DotSettings, so that we do things the same way. If you do not like the rules, it is better to change them, so that everyone keeps coding the same way and adapt the new ways of coding. Otherwise a resharper cleanup will be done differently if you do it, or if I do it. Where there rules in the team-shared version that you did not like? We can change them! :) |
