.claude/rules/knowledge-base.md said a dependency "in go.mod or package.json" absent from stack.md is a finding. PR #8 fixed that wording in the seeded docs/stack.md; this fixes it where it matters more, since the rule is the file the agent reads when the concern is live.

Template Version 5 → 6. That is the whole difference from the seed: a workspace template moved, so the manifest records the new version and scc update delivers the correction to workspaces that already exist. Verified against a workspace scaffolded at version 5 — scc update --dry-run offers exactly one file:

• Claude Code — .claude/ and CLAUDE.md
  update (1)
      .claude/rules/knowledge-base.md

go test ./... clean.

The seed stopped naming go.mod and package.json; knowledge-base.md still
did, and the rule is the file the agent actually reads. Same correction:
the check rests on a project's dependency file being structured data
rather than source, which is what holds in any ecosystem that has one.

Template Version 5 -> 6, because a workspace template moved. That is the
difference from the seed: `scc update` delivers this to workspaces that
already exist, and a dry run against a v5 workspace offers exactly the
one file.
