Currently, setting up input/output routings, UI layouts, and analysis/visualization parameters needs to be reconfigured manually across different physical setups or measurement sessions.
It would be very helpful to have a dedicated Preferences / Presets manager (or menu) with quick-recall slots (e.g., 10 slots or named preset files) to store and recall full user state configurations.
The state recall could cover parameters such as:
- I/O Routing: Audio device selection, channel assignments, calibration offsets, and sample rates.
- UI Settings: Window layouts, color schemes, target curves, etc.
- Analysis & Visualization Parameters: FFT sizes, windowing functions, smoothing, generator settings, and averaging methods, etc.
Having quick-recall slots (or Save As... / Load... preset options) would significantly speed up setup workflows when switching between different audio interfaces or measurement tasks in the field.
