Try this on your machine, I would assume this is a likely fix to the exploit, and if it works you can make the pull request to change it to the operation branch.
It isn't ideal as well mainly because it is i/o bound in the reading file system so if you could think of another solution that does not look into the fs then that would be more ideal.
