I'm completely new to HA so this could be user error. Since pretty much all of this is a mystery to me I had to use google a lot to even get to the point where I could run these commands. I used the commands the way I found them in the run.sh file.
I have a Pi5 and the 10" Raspberry display 2.
The display is vertical by default. When changing the config for HAOS-kiosk to rotate the display does rotate but the touch control does not.
I managed to do some testing and found this:
The display:
4c8b21d0-haoskiosk:/# xrandr --query
Screen 0: minimum 320 x 200, current 1200 x 1920, maximum 4096 x 4096
DSI-2 connected primary 1200x1920+0+0 (normal left inverted right x axis y axis) 0mm x 0mm
1200x1920 60.02*+
The inputs:
4c8b21d0-haoskiosk:/# xinput list
⎡ Virtual core pointer id=2 [master pointer (3)]
⎜ ↳ Virtual core XTEST pointer id=4 [slave pointer (2)]
⎜ ↳ 11-0041 ili_v3 id=6 [slave pointer (2)]
⎜ ↳ vc4-hdmi-0 id=8 [slave pointer (2)]
⎜ ↳ vc4-hdmi-1 id=9 [slave pointer (2)]
⎣ Virtual core keyboard id=3 [master keyboard (2)]
↳ Virtual core XTEST keyboard id=5 [slave keyboard (3)]
↳ pwr_button id=7 [slave keyboard (3)]
↳ vc4-hdmi-0 id=10 [slave keyboard (3)]
↳ vc4-hdmi-1 id=11 [slave keyboard (3)]
Props of the input that I guessed might be relevant:
4c8b21d0-haoskiosk:/# xinput list-props "11-0041 ili_v3"

I then did the mapping (the config was already set to rotate the display which might not show above as I had copied the output from xrandr prior to doing the rotate.
xinput map-to-output "11-0041 ili_v3" "DSI-2"
After running this command it seems the input worked as it should and matched the rotated screen.
