Cookie Loom 0.1.1 replaces the dominant React DOM bundle with Preact compat, loads advanced tools on demand, and reduces repeated browser reads. Large profiles keep all domains searchable while rendering 50 sidebar entries initially; the popup reads its captured site/store, and edits validate matching records without enumerating the profile.
On the same Chromium fixture with 2,000 native cookies and 4× UI CPU throttling, workbench readiness falls from 490.5 to 201.7 ms. Initial JS falls 77% for the workbench and 80% for the popup; browser ZIPs fall from ~138 to ~84 KB. Raw samples and methodology are committed in
docs/extension-performance.md; observed timings are fixture-specific. Installed/startup/ZIP size budgets now gate CI.The renderer change exposed deferred draft-guard and nested-dialog focus regressions. Layout effects and deferred focus restoration fix them without weakening existing tests. Parent-domain paths, FPI/partitions, stale writes, protected cleanup, mutation serialization, and rollback remain covered.
Validation: 153 Bun tests, 58 Playwright workflows (including four compiled Chromium workflows), 14 native Firefox checks, frozen Bun 1.4.3 install, production audit, formatting/typecheck, both builds, Firefox validation, artifact/size checks, and fresh source reproduction of all 27 files per browser. Required CI also tests Chrome 132 and Firefox 140 before merge. One reviewed Preact vendor innerHTML warning remains isolated; application HTML sinks are prohibited.
This prepares the new unsigned
v0.1.1-preview.1release and updated store submission docs. Previous release assets remain unchanged. Signed store publication still requires publisher access and the documented manual checks.
