Clutch pedal issue

Hi.
I’m playing using a steering wheel and pedals. I think since about two updates ago, manual transmission cars other than MR vehicles no longer start moving when I release the clutch. I understand this mod is developed primarily with keyboard play in mind, but is there any workaround for this?

Hi, I tested with the vanilla skoda enyiaq (not MR), but there was no problem making it "move" when releasing the clutch.
Can you give me more info on this problem ?

I also tested it with the Škoda Enyaq, but the result was the same. Releasing the clutch does not make the vehicle move forward, and the engine does not stall. However, when I press the accelerator pedal, the vehicle starts moving normally.

The　MR John Deere 3650 works correctly. When I release the clutch, engine power is transmitted to the wheels and the tractor begins to move forward.

I also tested the Mahindra 6000 Series and the Massey Ferguson MF 600 Series from ModHub, but the clutch did not function correctly in those either.

For reference, the only other mods I have installed are the two tractors mentioned above and the MR Mod itself.

In the settings, I have selected manual transmission with clutch enabled.

Ok, I didn't understand the problem then => I thought the vehicle was not moving when depressing the accelerator. (and playing with a clutch)
So, I did some search/test, and this is not related to converted or not converted vehicles.
I could reproduce the problem with the international 200 by changing the idle rpm in the xml.
I could also make the skoda work by changing the value of the idle rpm in the xml (was working with 600, but not with 1000 or 800 for example)
for some reason, the "getMotorRotationSpeed" doesn't always return the min rpm set in the "setMotorProperties" function when the engine is at idle (float numbers : there can be a slight difference)
I made a fix for that in MR engine 0.26.05.17.2

You can give it a test and report back if this is ok now. (hoping there is no side effect with the fix)

Hello, dear developer, while playing with your mod on a manual transmission with a clutch, I noticed a difference compared to the default setup: with the mod enabled, the vehicle starts abruptly, making it impossible to control the vehicle accurately. If the mod isn't enabled, the vehicle starts smoothly when you release the clutch pedal, which is very convenient, especially when driving a forklift. Is there a way to fix this?

Hi Tarasovgg,
there is no clutch management in the base game physics engine (unfortunately, the parameter is present but has absolutely no effect)

Chosen solution by giants = modifying the transmission ratio while playing with the clutch. this is "off limits" for me since it implies you get an improved "vario" transmission with any vehicle by doing that.
example : base game John Deere 3650, select the highest gear, attach the biggest trailer fully filled => by playing with the clutch pedal, you can start the vehicle going uphill and even make the wheels slipping on road !
Nothing to compare with IRL. (the tractor would not move and the wheels would never slip by doing this)

We need a working "clutchForce" parameter in the "controlVehicle" function
or easier for Giants : we need a parameter to limit the torque between the engine and the transmission.
In both case we would be able to do something "right" as far as clutch management is concerned.
