Salario? Oh! It's a web-based payroll management platform! It simplifies employee data input, net salary, calculations, and cool thing, it also generates cool and customizable digital payslips PDF!

Cool, but how do I use Salario?

As easy as flipping your hand (Well, not really if you didn't read this).

1. Register and login as the your company's Admin/HRD
2. Add your employees in Employee Section
3. Fill out the employee details!
4. Manage and customize their allowances (meal and also transportation) and also deductions
5. Download their payslips!! (Datas are automatically filled)

Run Locally

Make sure you have installed:

• PHP 8.4+
• Composer
• Node.js & npm
• MySQL

1. Clone Repository

git clone https://github.com/queenshafa/payroll-service
cd payroll-service

2. Install Dependencies

composer install
npm install

3. Configure Environment

cp .env.example .env
php artisan key:generate

4. Configure Database

Edit your .env file:

DB_CONNECTION=mysql
DB_HOST=127.0.0.1
DB_PORT=3306
DB_DATABASE=payroll_service
DB_USERNAME=root
DB_PASSWORD=

5. Run Migrations

php artisan migrate

6. Build Assets

Development:

npm run dev

Production:

npm run build

7. Run Application

php artisan serve

Visit:

http://127.0.0.1:8000

• User Registration
• User Login & Logout
• Session Authentification
• Route Protection (Middleware)

Default Account

Create a new account through the registration page and start managing your company's employees and payroll data.
