Chromium and Electron ignore a composition's foreground colour and always underline it, so the ghost reads as "underlined text" in Chrome, Slack, Claude, and VS Code. They do honour the underline's style and colour, so in calm (Chromium/Electron) hosts the marked text now carries a thin underline at the ghost grey with 45% alpha. Native editors are unchanged: grey fill, no underline. README explains the difference.
