V83P Studio 0.10.0 (preview)

Volume display, steadier reactions, and firmware 2.4.0 for the Inland MK PRO V2 (V83P).

Download: V83P-Studio-Setup-0.10.0.exe below. The installer isn't code-signed yet, so Windows may show "Windows protected your PC": click More info → Run anyway. On PCs with Smart App Control turned on, Windows blocks unsigned apps completely; code signing is in progress.

New

• Volume display: turn the knob (or change the volume any other way) and the whole keyboard becomes a volume meter for a moment, then fades back to your lighting. Bar color: Auto, Green → red, or Custom (Knob page).
• Over animated effects (rainbow, reactive, ...) the animation dims under the meter (needs firmware 2.4.0).

Fixes

• Reactions show over per-key colors, and stop when the reaction is saved, deleted or paused
• App-launch reactions no longer restart or get stuck with apps that run several processes
• Switching the keyboard to 2.4G, Bluetooth or off in the middle of music mode, a reaction or the volume meter no longer leaves it stuck on that lighting: it restores your saved lighting by itself
• No more flicker when the volume goes down over an animated effect
• Music mode: switching styles crossfades

Firmware 2.4.0
The app offers the update on the Device page. It keeps your settings, 2.4G and Bluetooth.

Please note: this is still a preview. The firmware has only been tested on one Matcha keyboard so far. If you try it, especially on a Mint, please report how it went in Issues.

First public preview of V83P Studio: lighting, music mode, macros and remapping for the Inland MK PRO V2 (V83P).

• Firmware wizard: installs the V83P Studio firmware 2.2.0 (keeps 2.4G and Bluetooth), backs up your original firmware first, and can restore it at any time
