This PR carries train 28: nine reviewed lanes, plus community PR #380 (@LaimaWu, shared inert-region handling and Elixir unquote calls, #357) with its commits and authorship kept. Merging this PR merges #380.

lane what it changes
forbudget-soft --for stops when the answer is complete by default (a 7.5 KB stair-step target, with a 30 KB runaway guard that discloses itself). An explicit --token-budget becomes a soft target: sections are reserved first, the tail carries page 0 of the file page (sym=, total=, next=), and every cut is recoverable through next=. Rows stay a rank prefix at every budget and root length.
for-body-slot An explanatory --for question ("how does X …") gets ONE owner body, chosen structurally: by name, entry point, or the member the parser scopes. It is disclosed as the owner by rule, "not necessarily the subject". There is no owner without structural evidence. TS class members and Go receiver methods are a named floor for now.
attrib-multidef Multi-definition answers attribute each row to the definition it belongs to (of_def, prov="split"), instead of a union over same-named definitions.
declined-sites Calls ripwire declined to resolve (ambiguous name, standard-library member, Ruby side cut, …) are listed as <dc> rows with file:line, candidate count and the gate that declined them. They never count as callers or edges. --safe-delete can now answer possible-callers.
grep-carrier --grep on a constant shows where it is read (reads_at=) and the value-carrying assignments, with next= to the uses.
ruby-pair Ruby subscript calls map to []/[]= only on proven receivers. The main object's implementor row counts once per object.
qd-memory-degrade --quality-delta degrades gracefully under a memory limit. It says which selectors were not tried, rather than failing.
githarden-speed Startup git checks are faster: pointer files are read directly, with a safe git fallback on any doubt.
git-child-hardening ripwire neutralises repository-configured filter and diff programs for its own git children. Filter drivers are pinned to an empty command, and --no-ext-diff --no-textconv and --ignore-submodules=dirty are applied. The MCP/LSP servers apply this per request root. It is disclosed in --doctor (git-config-trust) and on stderr (git_harden=filter-driver). See CHANGELOG and SECURITY.md for the visible effects.

Also: CONTRIBUTING gains the language-specific layer paragraph and "Most wanted: Rust, C++ and Go" (with #403, #404, #405 and wanted marks on the slice table). Two new items go in "Before you ask for review": keep sentinel words out of indexed bodies, and reuse a reviewed helper instead of duplicating it.

Pins: kParserVer 176 (rich 177), kCacheVersion 32, kQSnapCacheScheme 21 (test/qschemetrip.hash re-derived once). Generated docs were regenerated once from the merged binary; the gate count is 692.

By-design gate changes (stated in each gate):

  • forrankordercheck q2 is re-pinned with attribution (body slot + split disclosure).
  • langidentitycheck gets a one-time ceiling waiver, 352 → 362: the predicates came from lanes signed before the ratchet landed. Train 29 brings it back to ≤ 352.

Checked:

  • Every lane was reviewed, the risky ones twice, and signed.
  • Merge interactions were fixed red-first, including a postcondition abort on Elixir quoted calls that came from fix: share inert-region handling and preserve Elixir unquote calls (#357) #380 meeting declined-sites.
  • A two-reviewer pre-review pass covered conflict-resolved and new hunks.
  • Byte identity is 32/32 against main outside the lanes' scope, ASan is clean, and quality-delta gating is 0.

Summary by CodeRabbit

  • New Features
    • Call hierarchy, impact, path, and safe-delete results now show definition attribution, split-resolution details, and relevant declined call sites.
    • Grep results can include carrier values and read locations. Python and Ruby subscript references and Ruby top-level mixins are also reflected in supported results.
    • Explicit token budgets for --for, --pack-task, and --from-trace now act as soft targets, with clearer truncation details and continuation options.
    • --quality-delta supports selecting quality checks and can return a partial changed-files answer under memory pressure, with skipped-check details.
    • Elixir results better distinguish live code from quoted code and its evaluated holes.
  • Security
    • Git operations now neutralize configured filters and external diff or text-conversion tools, and ignore dirty submodules in relevant checks.

map-before-you-read.md called --token-budget a "CI/hook budget gate, not a
shaping flag". That holds for the default map, --query and --recall (exit 3,
the map withheld). On --for, --pack-task and --from-trace the same flag
shapes the answer and exits 0, as --help says. The paragraph now names both
personalities.

…get is a soft target (red)

The gate is written before the code it measures.

Default --for: the ranked head (<sigs total=>) is the answer. The 7.5 KB
payload budget becomes a target: the trim ladder may still shorten
signatures and doc excerpts to approach it, but it drops no row below a
runaway guard (kForRunawayGuardBytes). Rows served past the target are
disclosed (<sigs past_target="K"> plus a legend clause). Hitting the guard
is the only default cut, disclosed as over_ceiling="1" plus next=.

Explicit --token-budget / MCP budget_tokens on --for and --pack-task: rows
stop once the target is reached. The rank 1..4 floor, the header and every
disclosure always ship. There is no byte promise, so no over_ceiling= and
no legend clause dropped "(ceiling)". Served rows are a rank prefix,
monotone in N, equal across the compact and full dialects, and a target
wider than the answer serves exactly the default rows.

Twins that must keep holding: the map's exit-3 gate (G1), and an answer
complete under the target carries no new disclosure (D6).

On base d4325a8: 20 arms red (D1-D5, E1, E2 at N<=3000, E5, E6, P1);
E3/E4 prefix and dialect-parity arms, D6 and G1 green.

…finition answers

A selector that matches two or more definitions answers --callers, --callees,
--impact and --safe-delete with the union of their rows, and no row says which
definition it belongs to; --path names a bound definition for an endpoint no
path reached. This adds the gate for the fix (red on the current binary).

test/attribmultidefcheck.sh (new, 82 arms; 60 fail on d4325a8) over the
in-repo corpus test/attribmultideffix: C++ (same-named methods of two classes,
a declaration + definition calling an overload pair the resolver splits,
overloads in one class, a nested namespace, a template specialisation), Go
(three Get definitions of two kinds), Python / TypeScript / Java (two owners
of one name in one file, a row with one proven and one by-name edge), Rust and
ObjC (rows the resolver ties by name or by a split call). Covers XML, JSON,
columnar, --legend=full, the impact file rollup and the MCP twins
(find_referencing_symbols, find_symbol, impact, path_between).

Registered in test/regression.sh and the shard weights; gate count 684 -> 685.

… run, legend sets, guard bounds

Early gates review fixes (R1-R6, R9, S2-S7), still before any product code:

- ST: in the default and --signatures-only modes, an explicit target's
rows fit T (budgetBytesForTokens(N), charged against the bytes inside
<sigs> only) or are the rank 1..4 floor, and when rows were left out
the next row of the complete answer would cross T.
- NX1-NX3 execute the continuation of the tight cut, of the runaway
guard cut and of the MCP next_budget_tokens re-call: each serves the
whole head, and the cut's rows are its prefix. NX4 scans default
answers: every capped element (or shown < total beyond noedge=)
  carries next=, so the <tail> (D-4) and <hops> (D-3) cuts are covered.
- E2 compares the legend clause set with the wide answer's (present-only
clauses aside), keeps task=/route= on the root and the task echo; E2b
runs a 900-char task on --for and --pack-task.
- D4 reads the guard value from the legend of the answer that hit it,
bounds the cut from below (within 6000 B of the guard), and D4b checks
over_ceiling against the uncut head size over --pack-top-n 40..400.
- The head size is pinned to kForLensDefaultTopN; D5 compares the MCP
rows with the CLI default rows; PT1 pins --pack-top-n x target.
- P2: --pack-task --token-budget=6000 serves the default --pack-task's
sections; P3: MCP explore at a tight budget_tokens; G2/G3: --query and
--recall keep their exit-3 gate personality.

On base d4325a8: 40 FAIL / 45 PASS, every red the intended defect; the
twins (D6, E3, E4, E2b --for, P2, G1-G3) are green. Probe loops use
arrays. Shard weight re-measured under load.

… table cap, path root hedge

Early gates review (GO-WITH-CHANGES) required changes, gate side:
- foreign-declaration near misses as C++ (a::detail::tally declared, b::detail::tally
defined) and plain C (a static helper + a same-named prototype in another file):
each declaration stays its own group (bodyless="1"); groups=2 on run/CanonicalizePath
and the CanonicalizePath allowed set narrowed to the two definitions
- a C prototype + definition and TS overload signatures + implementation stay one group
- the template-specialisation arm checks per token: the primary only under its own ~t
mark, never unmarked and never ~s; a premise arm pins today's resolver binding
- plain one-group arms also assert no prov=; Q1 arm: a single-definition --callees
answer marks its split arms prov="split"
- row preservation: root count and the row-name multiset pinned from base on every
multi-group answer (CLI XML/JSON, safe-delete, impact, rollup, MCP calledBy)
- --path=PutInt,put and its MCP twin: no to_p for a to= bound only by a split hop
- a generated 20-definition selector arms the 16-group table cap: defs_listed=,
the invariant on page 1 and on the next_offset page
- ninja-07 std::string::empty confounder; JS and Ruby corpus dirs; xmllint on the
--legend=full answers of every touched verb

Base d4325a8: rc=1, 53 PASS / 87 FAIL; every FAIL is missing attribution or hedge.

…arget

Default --for: the ranked head (<sigs total=>) is the answer and every row
ships. kForPayloadBudgetBytes (7.5 KB) becomes a stair-step target: the
trim ladder's text-shrink steps still aim at it, but its row-drop step runs
only past a runaway guard (kForRunawayGuardBytes, measured on the same
quantity). Rows past the target are disclosed as <sigs past_target="K">
with a legend clause; budget_bytes= then reads as a target. Hitting the
guard is the one default row cut: over_ceiling="1", <sigs next=> and a
clause naming the guard. Trailing sections are funded as if the rows
stopped at the target. The compact route's <hops> serves every hop row
(D-3), and a capped <tail> carries next= in every regime (D-4).

Explicit --token-budget / MCP budget_tokens on --for: a soft target over
the <sigs> rows only (never the header), so compact and full serve the
same rows: rows in rank order while they fit, rank 1..4 always, the cut
continued (next=, next_offset=, next_budget_tokens=). No over_ceiling for
it, no header ladder (no legend clause, echo or route= dropped), no
paid/unpaid re-renders: the charged-continuation regime is retired.
--pack-task, MCP explore and --from-trace take an explicit budget as a soft
target too (section cascades unchanged; no ladder, no over_ceiling); their
defaults and --partition keep their hard ceilings. --max-tokens, the map,
--query and --recall gates are unchanged.

Gates: forsoftbudgetcheck green; rule-4 replacements in tokenbudgetcheck
#17, budgetpolicycheck (D), forrankordercheck (3)/(9)/(10)/(10c)/(11);
estcalib for-budgeted re-pinned with pin.py.

… stores

A hit inside a variable, constant or initialiser printed only callers="0" for a
thing nobody calls. The row now carries reads=/reads_at= (the uses verb's read
sites for the name, where that verb indexes reads; absent elsewhere) and vals=
(the function values the carrier stores, slot=fn@line of the one definition
each resolves to). The root next= becomes --uses=<carrier> when the top hit's
carrier has reads. Labels come from the index: the symbol kind, the use-site
table and the value-reference index. The MCP grep twin shares the computation
(src/grepcarrier.h).

Reads are captured only by the rich ingest family; a lean --grep whose page
holds such a carrier ingests the root once more through the rich warm cache.

Gate: test/countfloorcheck.sh arm P (red on the base binary).

Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com>
The MCP grep twin computed its next before the enclosing rows existed, so a top
hit inside a carrier with reads kept next=--at= while the CLI root said
--uses=<carrier>. The rows and the carrier verdict are now computed once before
the root, and grepCarrierNext lives in src/grepcarrier.h for both surfaces.

Gate: test/countfloorcheck.sh arm P (MCP next).

…ture, COMMANDS.md, dictv, help pins, deck

From build/ripwire at 3d3abe6 (every train-28 lane merged; src unchanged since):
- docs/captures/COMMANDS_showcase_2026-10-16.md captured (test/showcase_capture.py,
265 commands, clean tree @ 0a5d057): 185/185 flags covered with the new
--quality-kinds case; it re-derives the --at seed and records the live legend
  dictionary.
- docs/COMMANDS.md rebuilt from it (docs/docs_commands_build.py: 188 flags, 172 samples).
- CHANGELOG versions paragraph: the session legend dictionary is
  dictv=f83935bb22c0b728 entries=885 (`ripwire --legend-dict`).
- test/printf_parity.manifest: help and help_all re-pinned (UPDATE_GOLDEN_EXPECT
matched exactly {help help_all}: the lanes' new flags and help text).
- deck: 172 recorded invocations. tools/list is 47,416 B, inside its 47,420 B
  ceiling (unchanged).

…argecheck sections

quality-delta origin/main..HEAD gated on four rows that no single lane gates
alone: symbolQueryJson's complexity and verbosity (attrib-multidef's definition
table plus declined-sites' rows on top of it, each minor against its own base)
and the verbosity of estchargecheck's est_11_sweep and est_18 (forbudget-soft's
soft-target arms ported into #398's section functions). The MCP definition-table
block moves into symbolQueryDefTableJson (same calls, same order, same bytes);
the sweep's one-pass judge and #18's corpus writer move to the gate's shared
helper scripts beside soft_st.py, unchanged.

Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com>
selfcheckcheck (C) on the merged tree: std::ranges::is_sorted (lane ruby-pair's
rubyMainObjectMixins postcondition; std::is_sorted is already allowed),
has_value (lane grep-carrier's grepReadsIngest assumption) and
inertDeclinedMadeBy (the train's <dc> record postconditions). Each is a pure
read of its arguments; the allowlist names why.

Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com>
…yntax

compactlegendcheck (S) reads every legend constant for attribute spellings and
found the MCP note's "cands=K" (f3826f3/d31c1042) with no compact row. The MCP
note names JSON keys, not XML attributes: "cands:", "dc_shown:", "dc_next:".

Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com>
By design since e91e999: a spent soft target's hops cut marker carries no row,
so the readings only <c> rows use (via="name" since forbudget-soft, prov="split"
since that commit) leave the header with them; at N=300 on this corpus the
split reading now goes, as via="name" already did. E2 compares the clauses that
must ride at every N; like e= and sc= these ride only with what they define.
Every other clause is still compared.

Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com>
CI run 38864273049 style job (formatcheck, clang-format 22.1.8): red on the
train's edits to declinedCallsLegendForRows and declinedSitesLegend; whitespace
only. scripts/formatcheck.sh: FAIL before, ALL PASS after.

Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com>
CI run 38864273049, portablebuildcheck #6/#6b on every release leg (lane
grep-carrier): four ordered searches over string_view (binary_search,
lower_bound x2, sort) used the default comparator, which aborts the Linux G1
leg. They pass sortutil::svLess, the same total order, so no output moves.

Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com>
CI run 38864273049 (pyimportprecisecheck #382, and headbinstagecheck, which
runs it end to end): the gate's exact-EOF walk of the lean cache pinned
kCacheVersion 31, which the train moved to 32 without changing any record's
shape. The walk itself is unchanged and still passes to exact EOF on the
version-32 blob, which is the evidence for "no record changes shape".

…wner ruling)

Rule-4 by-design break, the 26c q3 precedent: q2 'compact legend rewrite' reads
10,458 B net on the merged tree (+4.28% on its 10,029 B pin). for-body-slot's
owner body brings it to +3.38%; attrib-multidef's compact split reading and the
prov="split" attributes on one split arm add +90 B. Neither lane is over alone.
The attribution is stated beside the pin; q6-q8 are unchanged.

Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com>
…ner waiver)

Owner waiver 2026-10-16: the ten shared-file Lang:: predicates came from lanes
signed before #399's ratchet (grep-carrier +1, ruby-pair +4, qd-memory-degrade
+1, #380 +1, attrib-multidef/declined-sites +3), so the ceiling moves 352 -> 362
once, recorded as a dated, named exception beside the unchanged never-rise rule.
Train 29 brings it back to <= 352.

Re-anchor the MCP twin (13e). At 3000 tokens it cannot see the opted-in section.

The CLI arm (13d) moved from 3000 to 6000 tokens. The reason at Line 435 is that at 3000 "the rows at the cut name no implementing file, so <lego> is empty either way". The MCP twin still runs the same fixture and question at budget_tokens:3000. At that budget sections:"lego, compose" serves no <lego>. The LCM_TBREST -eq LCM_TB equality therefore always holds, and the arm cannot fail.

The equality also disagrees with the round C contract that (13d) now pins. Under round C, an opted-in section is reserved first, so the row count may drop (<=), not stay equal. The new comment at Line 448 ("the opted-in sections cost no row") repeats the retired round B reading.

Move the MCP call to 6000 and assert what (13d) asserts: LCM_TBREST <= LCM_TB, a full <lego><iface in the MCP text, and no over_ceiling="1".

♻️ Proposed re-anchor
- # forbudget-soft (rule 4): the CLI twin's rule — under budget_tokens (a soft target) the opted-in sections cost no row
-    [[ "$LCM_DEF" =~ ^[0-9]+$ && "$LCM_TB" =~ ^[0-9]+$ && "$LCM_TBREST" =~ ^[0-9]+$ ]] && [ "$LCM_DEF" -ge 24 ] && [ "$LCM_TBREST" -eq "$LCM_TB" ] \
-        && ok "(13e) MCP for: <sigs> $LCM_DEF rows by default; under budget_tokens the sections cost no row ($LCM_TBREST == $LCM_TB)" \
-        || no "(13e) MCP for: <sigs shown> default=$LCM_DEF budget=$LCM_TB budget+sections=$LCM_TBREST (want >= 24, and the last two equal)"
+ # forbudget-soft round C (rule 4): the CLI twin's rule — an opted-in section is reserved first, so rows never GROW with it
+    [[ "$LCM_DEF" =~ ^[0-9]+$ && "$LCM_TB" =~ ^[0-9]+$ && "$LCM_TBREST" =~ ^[0-9]+$ ]] && [ "$LCM_DEF" -ge 24 ] && [ "$LCM_TBREST" -le "$LCM_TB" ] \
+        && ok "(13e) MCP for: <sigs> $LCM_DEF rows by default; under budget_tokens the opted-in sections never add a row ($LCM_TBREST <= $LCM_TB)" \
+        || no "(13e) MCP for: <sigs shown> default=$LCM_DEF budget=$LCM_TB budget+sections=$LCM_TBREST (want >= 24, and the last <= the middle)"

Line 447 also needs budget_tokens":6000 in both calls. The lc_mcp helper must also report whether the text carries <lego><iface and over_ceiling="1" so the arm can assert both.

directly and inspect its exit status, treating exit 0 and exit 1 (no matches) as
successful results. Return failure for pipe or other command errors, and route
failures for either SHA through the existing GitFailed disclosure path instead
of treating them as no export attributes.

Review comments at @src/verbs_quality.h:
- Around line 1695-1700: Update the peak-over message in emitMemoryLines to
branch on refs.degraded, avoiding wording that calls a changed-files answer
complete. Update kQdMemoryPeakLegend to describe both complete and changed-files
answers and preserve that the exit code reflects the answer’s actual status;
pass degraded state into the legend if needed.

while preserving guidance for genuinely refused options.

use a 6000-token budget for both calls and report whether the response contains
a full `<lego><iface ` section and `over_ceiling="1"`. Assert that the opted-in

section, and does not exceed the ceiling.

CodeRabbit #413 comment 4293498772 (Major). A proven Ruby/Python subscript
runs the resolve ladder on a copy of its site (role Call), so recordDecline
derived the site's index from an address outside ing.references: the
EXPECTS aborted (`self[ k ]` in a Ruby class method whose `[]` is an
instance method, side-cut decline) and the pointer subtraction was
undefined. The resolve loop now carries the site's index and the record
stores it directly.

declinedsitecheck (N): three arms, red on the pre-fix binary (contract
abort), green here.

CodeRabbit #413 comment 4293498800 (Major). --plan-lint=FILE resolves the
repository from FILE itself, which need not be a crawl root, so the startup
probe never saw it: the stamp's git status (and the later blame) ran with
that repository's configured filter drivers live. plan-lint now calls
githarden::hardenLateRoot on that repository first, as a server does for a
request-named root, and the run discloses git_harden=filter-driver.

gitchildoptscheck (C): plan-lint with FILE in the filter fixture and the
root elsewhere runs the filter 0 times and discloses it; with
RIPWIRE_BASE_BIN the pre-fix binary is shown to run it (red).

… as "no attribute"

CodeRabbit #413 comment 4293498809 (Minor). changedFilesBetween read the
export-subst/export-ignore `git grep` through popenTrimmed, which drops the
exit status: exit 128 (a bad object) or 127 (git missing) left the same
empty output as exit 1 (no hit), so a pair carrying export-subst could get
a changed-files answer with nothing disclosed. The grep now streams through
forEachGitNulRecord (the diff and ls-tree steps' reader) with exit 1 as its
one other clean code; any other exit goes to the GitFailed sink, and the
degraded path refuses as it does for a failed diff. The command line is
byte-identical.

qddegradecheck (N): a PATH shim whose git fails only `grep` refuses (exit
1, nothing on stdout) — red on the pre-fix binary (rc 6, a degraded
answer); control: a pair with no .gitattributes (grep exit 1) still
answers degraded.

…nes and the limit used

CodeRabbit #413 comment 4293498785 (Minor). replayLimitBytes named one MiB
above the projected need only. The projection also refuses a run whose
ingest need reaches half the limit (the parse line) while the need stays
under it, and then the replay's --max-memory sat BELOW the limit that had
just degraded the run, so the replay could not answer in full. The replay
now names one MiB above max( need, 2 x ingest need, the limit used ), in
whole MiB, the 64M floor and the size_t ceiling kept. TargetProjection and
RefPairDelta carry the ingest need.

qddegradecheck (B): by-design change of the replay pin (rule 4) — the
replay is above need AND the limit (on the fixture the limit decides; the
old "above need, at least 64M" reading still holds); red on the pre-fix
binary (64M), and (D) still replays in full at the new value.

…les answer complete

CodeRabbit #413 comment 4293498819 (Minor). kindsDisclosure reads the peak
on every range answer, including a degraded one, but the stderr line and
the memory_peak= legend said "the answer is complete" unconditionally,
contradicting the degraded line above it. The stderr line now branches on
the degraded state ("the changed-files answer stands as stated above"), and
the legend says the answer and exit code are what they would be without the
peak: complete, or the changed-files answer ingest_scope= names. Legend
dictionary unchanged (dictv f83935bb22c0b728, 885 entries).

qddegradecheck (R): the legend wording and the full answer's stderr twin
are pinned; a degraded answer whose peak also went over is not reachable
through one test seam, so that branch is checked by reading.

CodeRabbit #413 comment 4293498755 (Minor). bodySlotSkippedXml spelled
--expand=PATH:LINE:NAME by concatenation, so a path with a space or a shell
metacharacter pasted as two arguments and did not serve the body. It is now
built by nextFlag like every other next=, which quotes only where a shell
would act: ordinary paths are byte-identical.

forbodyslotcheck E2b: the fixture copied under a directory whose name holds
a space; next= is quoted and splits to one argument (red on the pre-fix
binary, unquoted).

…t gate reads it

CodeRabbit #413 comment 4293498746 (Minor). The "What it answers" summary
still said 190 long flags while the sentence below it and --help say 192.
readmedriftcheck (B) checked only the "N long flags advertised" sites; it
now reads the `<b>N long flags</b>` summary as a third site (red on the
previous README at line 985, green here).

…, where the section renders

CodeRabbit #413 review nitpick (forsectioncollapsecheck.sh 448-451). At
budget_tokens 3000 the opted-in sections render no <lego>, so the arm's
"same rows" held whether or not the sections were charged and it could not
fail on that. Like (13d), it now runs at 6000 and asserts what round C
pins: a full <lego><iface>, no over_ceiling, and rows that never grow with
the opt-in (<=). Mutation control: the same arm at 3000 fails (no <lego>).
MCP `for` under budget_tokens serves the signatures bundle (uncut here, 40
rows each), so the counts are equal on this fixture.

…ge, not a refused flag

CodeRabbit #413 review, outside-diff comment (map-before-you-read.md
136-137, Minor). The orient skill listed --token-budget among the flags
refused beside --for --limit, but since the budgeted-bundle candidate page
(#362) that combination answers: a <sigs> window over the ranked candidates
the budgeted bundle cuts, continued by next=. The page now says so, keeps
--json, --detail=N, --signatures-only and --top-k as refused (each checked
against the binary: exit 1 with a refusal; --token-budget: exit 0, schema
ripwire.candidate-page/v1), and spells --detail as the flag takes it.

…ource moves

The graph.h fix shifted rankGraphTeleport, so the published seed
(graph.h:9275) no longer resolved (showcasecapturecheck H). Regenerated
with test/showcase_capture.py from this tree's binary on a clean tree:
the seed is re-derived (graph.h:9279), the rest is the capture's usual
churn (wall times, line numbers, counts over this repository).

CodeRabbit review of c1855a0: 9 findings (7 inline, 1 outside the diff, 1 nitpick). All 9 were verified against the code and fixed on top of the train head; none deferred.

  • Major, src/graph.h: a declined proven subscript derived its record index from the address of a copy. Reproduced as a contract abort on a short Ruby file; the loop now carries the index. New gate arms in declinedsitecheck (N).
  • Major, src/planlint.h: the plan file's own repository is now probed for repository-configured filter drivers before plan-lint's first git child (gitchildoptscheck covers the shape).
  • Minor, src/quality.h: a failed export-attribute git grep now refuses instead of reading as "no attribute".
  • Minor, src/memguard.h: the replay's --max-memory covers both projection lines and is never below the limit used.
  • Minor, src/verbs_quality.h: the memory-peak line and legend no longer call a changed-files answer complete.
  • Minor, src/forowner.h: the skipped body slot's next= is built by nextFlag.
  • Minor, README.md: the summary flag count reads 192; the drift gate now checks that site.
  • Minor (outside diff), orient skill page: --token-budget beside --for --limit is the candidate page.
  • Nitpick, test/forsectioncollapsecheck.sh: the MCP twin is re-anchored at 6000 tokens.

The showcase capture was regenerated because a source line it seeds from moved. Each behaviour fix has an arm that fails on the previous head. Byte identity on 43 commands outside these paths: identical. Lane CI: green except the capture check, regenerated in the last commit.

…harvest

24: an index comes from the caller, not from pointer subtraction on an
element a caller may have copied. 25: a continuation is built by
rw::nextFlag / nextAttrXml, and the value it names clears every predicate
that refused or degraded the original run.
