This PR tackles two related issues: #110 and #111. Not included in this PR (but it could be) is a script for migrating the v1 Wikipedia data to v2. This script will be attached to a post in #111 shortly.
@reidpr, I've tried to stick to your coding conventions as much as possible, but I'm sure I overlooked some things. Please let me know what I can/should fix to conform to your desires.
