Thanks for testing this. It sounds related to #407 and #419, where FM Synth tracks only partly mute. To tell the cases apart:

    1. Which mute action did you use in each mode: FUNC+track, a MIXER mute or a trig mute? A trig mute stops new notes but doesn't cut a voice that is already sounding.
    2. Does a normal sample (FLEX) track mute properly in the same mode, in the same project?
    3. When it doesn't mute, is it a new note or the tail of an earlier one? A short HOLD/REL on the FM track helps tell.

Your set has Mute Modes 0.1.0. Nothing is confirmed yet.

Closing as a duplicate of #777, where the Mute Modes author reproduced this. In Mute Modes' DT-T and OTFX-T modes, FM Synth starts its note from the trig before Mute Modes gets to block it, so muted trigs still play. The fix needs a change on the FM Synth side, and #777 follows it. Until then, set MUTE MODE to OT or OTFX on FM Synth tracks; both mute it fully.
