tracks.squiggly is now tracks.wandering, clean's min_squiggly_share is min_wandering_share, and clean's count "squiggly" is "wandering". The test is unchanged: a star drifts, cloud texture wanders. records.md follows. tracks.squiggly shipped in v0.3.0; nothing downstream imports it. …scued hpwren_worked_example.ipynb solves hp-w-mobo-c on 2026-09-11 from CDN frames through the library API, then checks it against a second night, the optical centre, landmarks (the Hale dome, Santiago Peak) and DEM crests before and after. hpwren_track_cleaning.ipynb follows rdd-e-mobo-c on 2026-09-20, where 64 of 78 linked tracks were lit cloud: uncleaned it fails, cleaned it solves with 13 stars, and crests on a clear morning confirm the pose. terrain.py holds the DEM and crest helpers (Copernicus GLO-30 from its public AWS bucket). Each notebook has a "# %%" copy for Spyder. The README links both. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com>

Two notebooks that take the library from raw HPWREN frames to a checked pose, and a rename in track cleaning.
Worked examples
examples/hpwren_worked_example.ipynbcalibrates High Point West (hp-w-mobo-c) from 90 minutes of frames on 2026-09-11, using only the public library API. It goes through tracks, the pole, the solve and the overlay, then checks the result four ways: a second night, the optical centre fitted across nights, two landmarks in a daytime frame (the Hale Telescope dome and Santiago Peak), and terrain crests from a DEM.examples/hpwren_track_cleaning.ipynbfollows a hard night: Rincon del Diablo East (rdd-e-mobo-c) on 2026-09-20, under thin cloud lit by Escondido. 64 of the 78 linked tracks are cloud texture. Without cleaning, the solve fails. With cleaning, it solves with 13 stars at a median 0.76 px, and terrain crests on a clear morning six days later line up with the solved pose.examples/terrain.pyholds the terrain helpers: Copernicus DEM GLO-30 tiles from the public AWS bucket, crest marching, projection, and an edge score.# %%copy for Spyder and similar editors. The README links both notebooks. The notebooks are committed with their outputs, so GitHub renders the figures. The frames come from HPWREN's public CDN and are credited in each notebook. The CDN keeps about 89 days of frames, so anyone re-running the notebooks after mid-December will need to change the dates.
