Natural burial is a regulatory nightmare — until now.
CereclothOS is the compliance and certification backbone for green burial grounds, conservation cemeteries, and natural interment jurisdictions. It handles everything the death-care industry has been managing in spreadsheets and prayer — shroud certifications, decomposition timeline reporting, land covenant tracking, and the full patchwork of state permit workflows. The green burial movement is outpacing regulation, and CereclothOS is the platform that makes it legally defensible.
- Jurisdiction-aware permit workflow engine with state-by-state rule resolution
- Body decomposition timeline reporting with configurable 47-point compliance checkpoints
- Land conservation covenant tracking integrated directly against county parcel data feeds
- Full shroud and vessel certification registry with chain-of-custody audit trail
- Dashboard reporting that your inspector will actually understand. Out of the box.

CereclothOS is built as a distributed microservices platform — each compliance domain (permitting, certifications, land covenants, timeline reporting) runs as an independently deployable service behind a shared API gateway. State ruleset logic lives in a hot-swappable rules engine so jurisdictional updates never require a full redeploy. The entire compliance record corpus is stored in MongoDB, which handles the transactional write volume and audit-log integrity requirements without breaking a sweat. Inter-service event coordination runs through a Redis-backed message bus that doubles as the long-term audit event store.
