The global poultry industry sorts 9 billion chicks a year on vibes and paper logs — not on my watch
CloacaCore is the first purpose-built platform for credentialing, auditing, and performance tracking of commercial hatchery vent sexers — the most skilled and most invisible workforce in modern agriculture. It captures per-worker accuracy rates in real time, surfaces certification lapses before they become compliance events, and closes the loop between sexing accuracy and downstream flock performance so hatcheries can finally put a number on their labor ROI. Nobody built this before me because nobody thought hard enough about the problem.
- Per-worker accuracy logging with historical trend analysis and percentile ranking across the facility
- Automated certification renewal flagging with configurable lead times down to the individual credentialing body — tracks 14 distinct regional and international vent sexer certification schemas out of the box
- Downstream flock correlation engine that joins sexing records to grow-out performance data via batch ID
- Native integration with major hatchery management platforms so the data doesn't live in a silo
- Shift performance dashboards that supervisors actually want to open
HatchTrack Pro, Aviagen FlockManager, Salesforce (custom object schema included), Stripe (billing and credentialing fee pass-through), NeuroSync Workforce API, FarmLink Data Exchange, VaultBase Document Store, PoultrySoft ERP, AWS S3, Twilio (SMS renewal alerts), Google Sheets (legacy hatchery support — you know who you are)
CloacaCore is a microservices architecture deployed on AWS, with each domain — credentialing, audit logging, shift tracking, and flock correlation — running as an independent service behind an internal API gateway. Worker records and certification state are persisted in MongoDB, which handles the document variability across regional credentialing schemas better than anything relational would. Shift performance time-series data lives in Redis for fast dashboard reads across rolling 90-day windows. Services communicate over SQS so a downstream correlation job never blocks a sexer from clocking in at 4 AM.
