implement light group relight system

I think I have mentioned this before. I was working on an upgrade for the addon light group helper. This addon does about the same as your Light group part. Though GUI and how it works is slightly different.

The section liked about it, it has an operator which automatically set ups a nodegroup so you can quickly change light and power in comp. I did some work on that and now you can also change it colors. I've also implemented a sort of preset system. You can store each setup in a list and then really quickly toggle between them.

You think this is usefull for you light editor?

• A preset uilist system to store settings in the nodegroup set, can be restored with single click.

• Presets can only stored per nodegroup. I tested storing them on scene, but names for lights are important, if something doesnt matches up it throws an error. For now no export methods for these settings thus

• Also works on EXR images, which have stored lightgroup data on them

You select a renderlayer and in top left menu header, the button appearrs

Weird thing is, i dont seem to see a circular import, not sure whats going on here. v2.4.4 worked fine

Something really strange is happening. When i download the zip of v245 it works. but when i use the code from the fork, i get the circular warning. When i check bother folders and each file independent to the other, they are exactly the same. All files are 100% the same, yet one works and the other returns this circular error. This is so weird!

I took the content from the working version now, added my extra items. it works now. But still want to find out what the issue is with that other fodler structure. It annoys me that they are 100% the same, yet one works and one does not

Okay solved the import error. issue came due filename differences, bizar! one it shoudl have been LightEditor.py, it was named lightEditor.py

this issue wasnt related to the updates i did. That branch works, see the link

On the circular import — I think I can explain it.

The branch behind #5 contains both LightEditor.py and lightEditor.py. Git tracked them as two separate files; on macOS's case-insensitive filesystem they look like one, which is why the two folders seemed 100% identical to you. When that fork state gets installed, from . import LightEditor resolves against the wrong file and Python reports it as a partially initialized module — the "circular import" that isn't actually circular. The release zip works because it only ever contained the correctly cased file.

main here has only LightEditor.py, so there's nothing to fix upstream, and your lightgroup-relight-system branch is already clean — commit 98974c8 sorted it. It's really only #5's branch that still carries the duplicate.
