Result

REI Reverse Engineer is a native Windows research workbench with Rootcastle branding, a licensed Craft Anything desktop foundation, and local MCP routing to the Python workbench and pinned upstream REA. Discovery registered 248 external routes; Python identification and upstream entropy calls returned through the desktop engine on the same synthetic WASM fixture. Servers retain separate evidence stores.

Settings → AI supports the Experiential Labs gateway with separate EXPLABS_API_KEY routing, streaming and model discovery; official installed Codex/Antigravity CLI sign-in; and a clearly labeled Codex Cloud browser link. CLI login uses fixed commands, cancellation and deadlines without reading browser cookies or credential caches.

The English README includes the official rootcastle.com logo, an original SVG header, an actual application screenshot, setup instructions, architecture, verification boundaries and open-source provenance. DISCLAIMER.md addresses authorized use, warranties, liability limitations, AI output, data handling and third-party costs, subject to applicable law. Original licenses and notices are retained.

Verification

• Head 524ea4a passed both remote workflows before merge: Python quality gates and Windows desktop.
• Local Windows 11 x64: Rust 1.97.0, Python 3.14.7, Node 24.22.1.
• Native app built and opened; real Python/upstream MCP smoke calls passed.
• 352 AI/UI/CLI Rust tests passed; Python: 64 passed, one optional-tool skip.
• 12 root skills, formatting, Clippy, layers, locks and source secret checks passed.
• README links/anchors and SVG rendering checked; official logo identity and private-data-free screenshot hash verified.

Limits

Unsigned development preview. Discovery does not verify every analyzer or route. Experiential tests use a loopback fixture; no paid API call or user OAuth sign-in was performed. Antigravity CLI was absent locally and dedicated login support is version-dependent. Pinned upstream npm dependencies report 11 moderate advisories. Detailed evidence is in docs/DESKTOP-VERIFICATION.md and docs/AI-CONNECTIONS.md.
