- contact — We are trying to reach the original author to arrange a transfer.
- hardfork — A fork has been created under RS-CA.
- transfer — Ownership of the repository has been transferred to RS-CA.
More stages will be added as needed.
If you know a crate that’s important but abandoned or archived, you can request RS-CA to manage it.

- Include:
- Crate name
- crates.io link
- Original repository link
- Reason for adoption
- The RS-CA team will review, attempt contact with the author, and proceed according to our process.

Give a 👍 upvote on the relevant issue. Crates with more community interest are reviewed first.
- Contact the original author to request a transfer.
- If transfer is not possible, hard fork the repository.
- Maintain the crate under RS-CA stewardship.
- Archive the original version for historical reference.
- RS-CA code is dual licensed under MIT or Apache 2.0.
- Crates keep their original licenses.
