Getting Started

Prerequisites

• Node.js (v14 or higher)
• MongoDB account
• Git

Installation

1. Clone the repository

git clone <repository-url>
cd devTinder

2. Install Backend Dependencies

cd backend
npm install

3. Install Frontend Dependencies

cd ../frontend
npm install

4. Configure Environment Variables

• Create a .env file in the backend directory
• Add your MongoDB connection string and JWT secret

5. Start the Development Servers

Backend:

cd backend
npm run dev

Frontend:

cd frontend
npm run dev

The frontend will be available at http://localhost:5173 The backend API will be running at http://localhost:7777
