The getStorageContents was only introduced in later Spigot versions. So in order to provide compatibility with Minecraft versions below 1.9, we have to fallback to an older method with the same functionality.
So I added a check if the new method is available and if not use the old getContents method with copying the only the relevant data out. By doing it in this way, we could make sure that the plugin will work out of the box for newer Spigot/Minecraft versions like in the case Mojang decides to increase the inventory size. The plugin then still relies on the API and works for that case.
