TOFSMYGGA smart plug not discovered: Unknown device type 'electricalSensor' #204

Description

@dylan200019

The new IKEA TOFSMYGGA outdoor smart plug is not discovered by the integration.

The device works correctly in the IKEA Home Smart app, but Home Assistant only logs the following error:

text

Logger: custom_components.dirigera_platform

Source: custom_components/dirigera_platform/device_discovery.py:116

Unknown device type 'electricalSensor' for device <device_id>, cannot discover

As a result, the TOFSMYGGA is not added to Home Assistant and no entities are created.

Environment

  • Home Assistant OS: 18.1
  • Home Assistant Core: 2026.7.3
  • Supervisor: 2026.07.3
  • Frontend: 20260624.6
  • Integration: IKEA Dirigera Hub Integration (this fork)
  • DIRIGERA firmware: 2.975.2
  • Matter Hub firmware: 26.4.0
  • TOFSMYGGA firmware: 1.4.6

Steps to reproduce

  1. Pair the TOFSMYGGA with the DIRIGERA hub.
  2. Restart Home Assistant (or wait for device discovery).
  3. Check the logs.

Expected behavior

The TOFSMYGGA should be discovered as a smart outlet and expose its switch and energy monitoring entities (power, energy, voltage, current).

Actual behavior

The device is not discovered and the following error is logged:
Unknown device type 'electricalSensor' for device <device_id>, cannot discover
