Frontend systems for AI products: React/TypeScript, agentic tools, and design-system discipline.

25+ years of web engineering. The last decade: design systems, embeddable UI, and complex product frontends at RapidAPI, Propel, and Courier. Since 2025: agentic systems and AI-assisted workflows end to end.

Current systems

  • Private AI-assisted operations platform — supports personal and family operations: documents, cases, deadlines, correspondence, and decisions. Apple Vision OCR, source-linked extraction, local semantic search over 35k+ source-linked document chunks, entity/case graph, nightly integrity checks, and daily digests. Built solo, used daily.
  • MCP tooling — OCR, local semantic search, read-only mail tools, and archive maintenance workflows.
  • LLM pipeline reliability — record/replay fixtures, deterministic CI patterns, and snapshot-based drift checks for probabilistic pipelines.

Selected work

  • trycourier/courier-designer — Courier Create: embeddable notification designer built with React, TipTap, Vitest/Playwright, and a Turbo monorepo. Built the core editor and embeddable frontend architecture.
  • propeldata/ui-kit — React component library for data-visualization products. Led development / major contributor.
  • RapidAPI design system — internal UI toolkit: one of two engineering owners. Polymorphic components, primitives composing into business widgets, coverage ratcheting.
