… narrative Major changes: - Split Lab 8 into Lab 8a (Label Manipulation & Offset) and Lab 8b (Subqueries, Ranking & Missing Data) - Added checkpoint quizzes after each difficulty tier (Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced) - Enhanced labs with scenario-based narratives for better engagement - Added mermaid histogram diagram to Lab 9 - Fixed Lab 9 navigation to point to Lab 10 - Fixed Lab 10 ending with proper congratulations and quiz link - Moved copilot-instructions.md to correct location (.github/) - Updated README to reflect new lab structure (12 labs) - Added tests for new Lab 8b queries - Excluded quiz files from coverage check (illustrative examples) All 86 tests pass.
Issue #1: Add histogram traffic generator - Created Scripts/histogram_traffic_generator.py (cross-platform) - Created Scripts/histogram_traffic_generator.sh (bash version) - Updated Scripts/README.md with usage instructions - Generates HTTP traffic to Prometheus for Lab 9 histogram data Issue #2: Fix redundant 'sum by (instance)' with single instance - Updated Lab 4: Added clarifying note about multi-instance pattern - Updated Lab 5: Simplified CPU saturation query (removed redundant grouping) - Updated Lab 6: Changed to simple sum() for network query - Updated corresponding test queries in Tests/queries.py Issue #5: Remove synthetic histograms from deck 9 - Removed 'Building Synthetic Histograms' slide section - Updated objectives (removed synthetic histogram objective) - Updated summary (removed synthetic histogram point) - Updated speaker notes throughout All 86 tests pass.
